Dear Friends of the Broughton Nature Preserve,
Reminder: There is a tree planting workday Saturday 1-4PM on Buckley Island. Check out and share the attached flyer!
The floods are subsiding so it’s time to get back into the Broughton’s woods.
Let’s pick up removing invasive shrubs along the
Blue trail on Sunday afternoon from 1-4PM. Should be lots of spring flowers blooming–which we will try to avoid. However, most of our work is removing privet thickets!
Dress for the weather. Hopefully it is less muddy. Snacks, tools, gloves and good company will be provided!
