Our affiliate, Broughton Commercial Properties, LLC specializes in developing customized building spaces on 55 acres of our 600+ acres of property. The company provides customized Morton Buildings and will customize or build-to-suit to fit the needs of its tenants. There are 25 buildings situated on four campuses along Ohio State Route 821 between Route 60 and I-77 Exit 6.

Several local leaders volunteer with Shale Crescent USA to showcase our area to prospective businesses, employers, residents, visitors and students through lifestyle and business-oriented videos. Many are affiliated with the Marietta Community Foundation which was founded in 1974 and headed by the late Carl L. Broughton.

Marietta High School Rowing is based in the Carl L. Broughton Boathouse on the west bank of the Muskingum River. Tax-deductible gifts to the Carl L. Broughton Boathouse Endowment Fund are used to improve and maintain the Boathouse which is also used by the Harmar Rowing Club and the Marietta Rowing and Cycling Club.
