GARLIC MUSTARD PULL ON THE ORANGE TRAIL THIS SUNDAY 2-4 PM
Dear Friends of the Broughton Nature Preserve.
This Sunday 2-4PM, let’s take another hike on the Orange Trail. However, this time, we will focus on pulling garlic mustard! I was surprised to see so much garlic mustard growing along this trail.
Let meet near the farthest YMCA building in GWB Complex #1 (see directions below).
We will start from there.
We will provide tools, gloves and snacks.
Let’s walk this beautiful trail and clear out some of this invasive spring flowering plant! If you want, you can collect the leaves and make a delicious pesto or quiche with the leaves.
Hope to see some of you on Sunday!
Mark
