Seed Processing Workday
Sunday, Dec 3, 1-4 PM @ Building 29, GWB Complex #3

Dear Friends of the Broughton Nature Preserve,

The time has come for us to process the native seeds we have collected for the past months. We will clean them and then make seed mixes to sow in areas where we have been removing invasives over the past year.

To date, we have about 70 native specs- some in minimal quantities and some in larger quantities.

Building 29 is at GWB Complex #3 (see directions below). However, the building is before you go up the hill. We will have signage out.

We will provide gloves, snacks, and good company! This work takes place indoors–so we will also have masks to wear–it is pretty dusty work.

An important part of this workday is to teach folk about preparing native seeds to sow in natural areas (or in your yard!). It is pretty cool.

Hope to see you there!
