Broughton’s Nature Preserve Restoration workday: Monday, July 3, 2-4 PM—GWB Complex #1

Dear Friends of the Broughton Nature Preserve,

Let’s celebrate Independence Day by liberating our native forests from some invasive species!

Since  2″ of rain is predicted for Sunday, I thought we should try and do something on July 3rd, from 2-4pm.

We are working along the stream beside the Blue Trail.  And we are making great progress! (Leight Murray has been doing some trail clearing along the Blue Trails that is giving us a great headstart!).

Come dressed in long pants and long-sleeved shirts and good boots/shoes.  You get a free sauna with the experience!

Hope to see you on Monday afternoon!

  2. Drive into the Complex and head left towards the Community Building.
  3. Once you cross the creek, turn right and go as far down as possible.  Park near the YMCA’s furthest building.
