Deer hunting is allowed in the Park during Ohio Deer Seasons and by PERMIT ONLY! All permits have been issued for this season. Hunters should have their legal hunting licence and the Broughton permit with them when they are in the Broughton Nature and Wildlife Educaiton Area.
NO OTHER HUNTING IS PERMITTED AT ANY TIME AND TRAPPING IS NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME.
PLEASE EXERCISE CAUTION DURING HUNTING SEASON!
Trails are closed during Ohio Deer Gun Season days. Ohio’s white-tailed deer hunting seasons for 2020-2021:
- Deer archery: Sept. 26, 2020-Feb. 7, 2021
- Youth deer gun: Nov. 21-22, 2020
- Deer gun: Nov. 30-Dec. 6, 2020; Dec. 19-20, 2020
- Deer muzzleloader: Jan 2-5, 2021
