Restoration Workday Thurs Jun 12, 9-Noon

Dear Friends of the Broughtons Nature Preserve,

We will have another restoration workday this Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Let’s meet at the Fishing Pond (GWB Complex #3)–see directions below.  Dress for the weather, but I think it’s important you wear long pants and good shoes!

We will provide tools, snacks, and good company.  Come meet Tucker Dougherty–our AmeriCorps service member.

If you bring lunch, we can have a picnic at the pond after work!  (You can come just for the picnic as well.)

Directions to GWB Complex #3 (GWB #3 fishing pond):

  1. Enter the GWB Complex #3 off State Route 821.  It is the complex nearest the entrance/exit off Interstate 77.
  2. Go up the hill to the first set of buildings.  Turn left.
  3. Proceed all the way to the end of these buildings.  Head down to the pond—it is straight ahead, down a pretty steep drive.
