Restoration Workday, Sunday, July 9, 2-4 pm

Dear Friends of the Broughton Nature Preserve,

This Sunday we will continue working on removing invasives along the Blue Trail–we are making great strides in clearing the riparian area and along the trail.  Come check it out!#1 (directions below).

We are finding amazing native shrubs (witch hazel, black haw, paw paw) and flowering plants and grasses (smooth hydrangea, yellow jewelweed, bottle brush grass) just to name a few.

Sunday weather ooks perfect—high is projected at 79, and we are working in the shade.  Still, please wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts, and good shoes/boots.

Hope to see you Sunday!
