Restoration Workday Sun, May 14, 1-4 PM

Dear Friends of the Broughton Nature Preserve,

Well, this is Mother’s Day weekend.  What better way to celebrate than to help restore some of the native beauty to our invaded woods and streams?

This Sunday, 1-4PM, we will start work on the Blue Trail along 2nd Creek.  Meet in GWB Complex #1, right near the YMCA building (see directions below).

Be sure to have good boots/shoes, long pants, and a long sleeve shirt.  It is bound to be muddy.  And even though it will be warm, you need long pants and a shirt to protect you from the shrubs!

We will provide tools, gloves, snacks and good company.  Lots of beautiful spring flowers are still in bloom.  Our work will liberate more!

Hope to see you on Sunday.
