PIONEER TRAIL IS OPEN

Our Trail Committee Chairman walked the Pioneer Trail late this afternoon and said, “I am pleased to report that Rich Holmes did a fabulous job of rebuilding the trail where it slipped into the wash below. Of course the trail is very steep when ascending from or descending to the Route 821 crossing. Thus, caution should be urged especially when wet. However, the trail bed is secure and very usable.”
