Next Native Seed Sowing Workday—Sat, Dec 17th

The Stewards had a very successful seed-sowing workday last Sunday, getting about half of the AEP right of way sown with native seeds in the bare areas that needed some help.

This Saturday, volunteers will try and complete native seed sowing of the right of way.  Join them at the top of GWB Complex #3 this Saturday, December 17, from 2-4PM.  They will drive out to the site, and then walk up and down some steep hills to sow the native seeds we collected this fall.

Dress for the weather, and bring a sturdy rake if you have one. Hot chocolate and good company are offered as compensation for your help!

1. Enter GBW Complete #3 off Rt.
2. Go up the hill and turn left at the first row of buildings.
3. Go all the way to the pond (don’t go down).  Turn right and then go all the way up to the top of the hill.  There is parking up there.
