ER Workdays: Cutting Invasives on Thurs, Sept 11 @ 9 am & Collecting Native Seeds on Sun, Sept 14 @ 2 pm

Dear Friends of the Broughton Nature Preserves,

Let’s get back into the field!
This Thursday we will continue cutting invasive shrubs along the Red/Blue Trail intersection near the upper pond.  Meet at 9AM at the top of the hill behind GWB complex #3 (see directions below).
Tools, gloves, snacks and good company are provided!
On Sunday, starting at 2PM we will begin to collect native seeds!  We will start by collecting seeds along the Right of Way–same meeting place as Thursday–top of the hill behind GWB Complex #3.
Gloves, bags and snacks will be provided.  This is easy work, and a great way to be outdoors.  (The goldenrods and asters are starting to bloom!).
Late summer and early fall is the perfect time to get outside and experience nature.  Hope to see some of you there.
