Work has begun on the next phase of the trail which is marked in red on the map. The Millgate connection is scheduled for completion in Fall of 2016. Meanwhile, thanks to a grant from the Wood/Washington/Wirt Interstate Planning Commission, an engineering study to determine the best option for connecting with the Marietta River Trail is being conducted during the Summer of 2016.
