Broughton Restoration Workdays: Thurs, July 25 & Sat, July 27; 10 – Noon
Dear Friends of the Broughton Nature Preserve,
In respect for the summer heat, let’s do two shorter work days (two hours) during the morning hours, later this week: Thursday 10-Noon and Saturday 10-Noon.
We will continue removing invasive shrubs along the Blue Trail (we are making great progress!).
Come dress with long pants and a long sleeved shirt, and good shoes. We are cutting brush in the woods!
We will provide tools, gloves, snacks and good company!
Meet at the GWB Complex #1 (see directions below).
Hope to see some of you there!

1. Enter the GWB Complex #1 off State Route 821. This is the complex nearest Marietta, just off Route 60.
2. Drive into the Complex and head left towards the Community Building.
3. Once you cross the creek, turn right and go as far down as possible. Park near the YMCA’s furthest building.
4. We meet at the trailhead of the Blue Trail.
