Broughton Ecological Stewardship: Sunday, June 25,  2-4 PM

Dear Friends of the Broughton Nature Preserve,

We will continue to work along the Blue Trail stream–clearing privet and multiflora rose.  The effect is quite dramatic.  Come help us liberate this stream and riparian buffer!

Meet at GWB Complex #1 (directions below).

Wear good boots/shoes, long-pants and long-sleeves!  Where we are working will be shaded and much cooler than the outside air.

We will provide snacks, tools, and good company!

Cheers!

Directions to GWB Complex #1:

  1. Enter the GWB Complex #1 off State Route 821.  This is the complex nearest Marietta, just off Route 60.
  2. Drive into the Complex and head left towards the Community Building.
  3. Once you cross the creek, turn right and go as far down as possible.  Park near the YMCA’s furthest building.
  4. We meet at the trailhead of the Blue Trail.
