ANNUAL SEED PROCESSING WORKDAY SUN, NOV 24, 1-4 PM

Dear Friends of the Broughton Nature Preserve,

We will have our annual seed processing workday this Sunday from 1-4PM at the GWB Complex #3, Building #29.  (See directions below.)

It was not a great seed collection year due to drought but we collected over 50 native species, and we will make  seed mixes from them and sow them into areas we have cleared over the past year.

This is easy, but dusty work.  Come see what seeds we have and help get ready for seed sowing in December!

Hope to see you on Sunday!

Directions to GWB Complex #3 (Building #29):

1.       Enter the GWB Complex #3 off State Route 821.  It is the complex nearest the entrance/exit off Interstate 77.

2.       Go up the hill to the first set of buildings.  Turn left.

3.       Proceed all the way to the end of these buildings.  Before you head down to the pond, turn right, and go up the hill to the first set of buildings.  Turn LEFT. Building #29 is at the end of this drive.
