We are pleased and proud to announce that the Park has been selected for another Eagle Scout project! Led by Joseph Mehl of Troop 117, some of his fellow scouts and adult volunteers planted a number of fruit trees. Apples and peaches will soon become a food source for wildlife and will provide succulent snacks for hikers. The trees, made available at a discount by Greenleaf Landscapes, were sponsored by supportive individuals and businesses. Special thanks to Joseph and to all who helped with this very tasteful addition to the Park.
